The warmth we experience when we feel the depths of song that surpasses the words, the deep longing that is awakened when we are taken a back by the passion found in a painting, the way the depths of us swoon when words are so beautifully strung together in a poem.

I believe these are the glimpses of Heaven - Earth will only give us a taste. You can’t quite touch it, but you feel the magnitude of its presence that’s awaiting. I cling to the belief of art being one of the languages God uses to point us to the hope of the not yet, but almost. May the art we make attempt to close the gap of the almost and not yet.
